• Icyterm Bugs...

From Shurato@21:2/148 to Omnibrain on Sunday, April 21, 2024 13:06:00
I posted some to netmail since the icyterm github page is no longer accepting bug reports. Were they received? If not, I could post them here or
somewhere else where they would be seen...

    I'm moved the page to:
    https://github.com/mkrueger/icy_tools

I've too many projects ongoing. In this repository the ansi tools are located. IcyTerm, IcyView and IcyDraw as well as related libraries. I don't want to maintain so many repositories anymore - 8 -> 1 :).

Atm I work on a bbs system that would've made things too complex. IcyTerm will profit from that - it'll get a rework on the com layer and transfer protocols. I've a new version ready but it's not built in.
The BBS and IcyTerm will share the network code and transfer protocols.

I need to set up the icy_tools github page, build pipelines etc. but atm I'm too involed in the bbs project. Will keep me busy 1-2 months.
I know that IcyTerm/Draw needs some love - I want to improve the gfx backend. But I may choose to switch the UI lib - depends on the new Pop!OS desktop.

Need to see that in action and then decide if it's worth the switch.

    I've moved all tools to:
    https://github.com/mkrueger/icy_tools

I joined 9 repositories to that one. Now I'm working on another project that would've added even more repos on the pile - it got too much :/.

That's why I joined many projects and now I've only 2. Will help me to track bugs and development better.
