• MagiTerm v0.9.96

From apam@21:1/126 to All on Friday, January 17, 2020 12:53:17
Just pushed MagiTerm v0.9.96 to the build server and updated the Win32
    build.

New things: page-up page-down work in the listings, also in the dialing directory you can start to type a bbs name and it will jump to it (hit
    escape to reset).

    New Hang up command.

    Improved Zmodem dialog.

No more macOS build. You might be able to build it yourself as I haven't removed the macOS specific code, but macOS is no longer supported.

Win32 Build can be found here:

    http://members.iinet.net.au/~apamment/

Linux builds (and repositories) can be found here:

    https://software.opensuse.org//download.html?project=home%3Aapamment&pack age=magiterm

Downloaded it and when I went to run it to test it out AVG
    Anti-virus deleted the download. :(

    Not really surprised.

    Dear Apam,

thank You for the new release. Speaking of I'm wondering whether it wouldn't
be a good idea to add web links following. Or generally just file association to the Terminal. Something like every common Operaing system has. The user defines extensions and associates it with the programs. I'm not sure whether it's clear what am I talking about ... so one picture is for thousands of words.

    Thank You & best regards

I'm not really sure what you're asking.. if you click on a web link in magiterm, it should open your web browser.

if you mean clicking on a telnet or ssh url in your web browser, on
linux it should open up magiterm (or at least a window with magiterm as
    an option).

On windows, you would have to set it up as the handler for telnet / ssh
urls if you want it to open them.

Just pushed MagiTerm v0.9.96 to the build server and updated the Win32 build.

I just got the update (apt update; apt upgrade) an hour ago:

    Start-Date: 2020-01-17 10:12:16
    Commandline: apt upgrade
    Upgrade: magiterm:amd64 (0.9.95-1, 0.9.96-2)
    End-Date: 2020-01-17 10:12:24

    Thank you!

    Hyperlink invalid.

    Proper hyperlilnk would be:
    https://software.opensuse.org/package/magiterm

would be also nice tha one could copy+paste into MagiTerm ... or am I
just too knuckle dragging to figure it out?
