• Got my 1st packet with BinkD...

Was playing around with BinkD this evening. Started it up & got a packet from one of my hubs (not sure which one...but saw OUTBOUND.015 sitting in the FastEcho folder). The rest of the hubs just timed out...while BinkD had this error message..."SOCKET OPERATION ON NON-SOCKET".

1 packet came through & getting another error message. I am stoked that I am making headway in whatever direction it is. ;)

    Hello Phoobar,

I wish I had an OS/2 box to play with this stuff.

As far as OUTBOUND.015, that is where my stuff for fsxNet goes, so that looks good.

I'm not sure what that socket non-socket stuff is about. I have never seen that.

    Kplah!

    Ttyl :-),

I wish I had an OS/2 box to play with this stuff.

Sean Dennis has a copy of 4.52 already set up for VirtualBox which works
great. If you want to start from scratch...the ISO's are available on I
believe archive.org...but Sean's has the VB drivers installed.

Have this weekend off...so am hoping to do some testing to get out.

Found quite a bit of info on this with Citrix & a few things with BINKD.
Looks like it's something to do with a path.
