Just wondering what software is out there that will allow for this to happen?Internet Rex might be one option, but that isnt really supported. There is also WCListserv but that is Wildcat! oriented.
Suggestions or any guidance appreciated. Thanks :)

Synchronet has a built in email list module,
If you need something different I might be able to cobble something together. ===
Synchronet does this pretty well.
I have mailling lists coming into the BBS - and tossing them for a downstream BBS.

What I would like to do is gate an external listserv in/out of a fsxNet echomail area. Figured it would be doable, just started pondering what software I could set up to do so. Another thing to add to my TO-DO and
on to a new Linux box :)
Look up listgate.js (ListGate) on the Synchronet wiki. That will do
what you want. :)
There's a lot of good email integration in Synchronet. :)

started to look at that today, since I know little of Synchronet at
this stage it was a bit of a shallow dive for now.

Oh, I know there is and it's why it was the first part of my suggestion
:)
Just before knowing what specifically Paul was looking for I figured
I'd offer help as well if it was something less standard or wanting to avoid another full bbs stack in the mix since I've recently had to
write some email parsers for a ticket handling sytem, and have been playing with writing a basic tosser to play with the possibility of
using FTN networking in a couple more modern projects, so figured it wouldn't be overly crazy to customize something if needed.
Coolio, I took a look at the wiki and it looks to be a listserv run by the BBS that will gate incoming emails to echomail groups - right?

I can second the suggestion of Synchronet. I used to use Internet Rex quite a while back. It may still allow you to do some things that Synchronet would not, but it also has some bugs that will likely never be fixed. Synchronet's method is pretty easy to set up. I currently only use it to bring in traffic, but there is also a way to set it up to
allow for 2-way traffic if so desired.
Host a full blownm mailing list. This works really well, and I use the listserver here.

How does it work with DKIM signed mails? I subscribed to some mailing lists that always end in the spam folder on my gmail address.
