I'm having a problem when I exit a door game it will disconnect me from The BBS. What could cause this?

Could it be that door usage doesn't count against the inactivity timeout (General Settings --> Inactivity) in Mystic (which is usually set rather low if I recall correctly)?

You might want to double-check with g00r00 in the MYSTIC FidoNet echo, though.

I know I raised it to 7200 seconds once upon a time when I had problems with disconnects after downloads (but I believe that it nowadays doesn't count downloads as inactivity any longer).

    Best regards

Figured out what the problem was. Wall E. Weasel figured it out for me. The guy is a master at tempermental doors. On exit the door was saving a bulletin file in a .DAT file that was crashing the NTVDM when it finished writing those files. I would have never figured that out on my own.

The more I play around with installing doors the more I realize that they can do some strange things that are a bit above my knowledge.

    That one was... unexpected. :-O

And I haven't even started yet. Perhaps I should wait a little more... :)
