• More then one person at one time via telnet

From Gregory Deyss@21:1/127 to All on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 20:23:52
    Hello All,
Is it possible for more than one person to connect to Mystic via a telnet connection?
My recent experience has been that only one person is allowed. I believe I
have my configuration setup to allow for more than one person at a time.
    Not sure what is wrong.

    Thanks
    Greg

I'm not sure there has ever been more than one person on my BBS at the same time but I think it should be OK.

In Mystic -cfg -> Servers -> General Options I have Max BBS Nodes set to 6, and under Configure Servers -> Telnet I have Max Allowed also set to 6.

    Ttyl :-),

... There's always one more bug.

    Hello All,

Heck yea - I've had 6 nodes filled at once, and we've even had MeaTLoTioN's PiMP (Phone in my pocket) BBS filled with 10 nodes - on a OnePlus cell phone. LOL.

I suggest jacking nodes up to 10 in settings; I don't know what hardware COULDN'T handle them. (2o runs on a Raspberry Pi w/ 1GB RAM...)

Yes, I have 16 telnet lines open for example. The default is 3 at the same time, but you can do much more - not sure of a limit. It's in the telnet
server settings, you can also do ssh. NNTP. POP3 and a few others.

... It said "insert disk #3", but only two will fit...
