  • ENiGMA - How active is development now?

    Hey,

    Just wondering how active development is on this now.

    I've scanned through GitHub etc, and there has been some activity this year there, but the web page shows the last official Alpha release back in 2018.

    How's it all looking?

    Looks good to me, I did some fixes for the MRC module on enigma1/2 last month.

    Hey,
    Just wondering how active development is on this now.
    I've scanned through GitHub etc, and there has been some activity this year there, but the web page shows the last official Alpha release back in 2018.

    Enig is still being developed. There was a pause for a bit from myself, but I'm getting back in on it. REcently a big merge went in bumping the versoin and adding support for a LOT more terminals (I have typeos right now because my retro pc's backspace isn't working lol)

    Is there a feature or bug you're after?

    Nothing too specific... when looking at which BBS software to run, was factoring in how active the code base was as part of that.

    Although I was wondering if Enigma supports hot key presses (if this is the right term...), instead of needing to press RETURN after each menu item. I didn't spot any obvious examples of this in any of the BBSs I looked at or in the documentation, but I didn't do a deep dive on this either...

    Just checking in that you still see merit in keeping this echoarea and that you want to keep using it for posting updates on ENiGMA 1/2 progress / helping folks with their questions etc?

    I'm picking yes but just checking in as I revisit a few echos at present.
