• Animated Pause Prompts

    Hey

Last night I added support for animated pause prompts.

If you're tracking git, this is how you use it....

make a "pause" folder inside the gfiles folder, and put your prompts in
    there.

I made it compatible with the RCS prompt format, so you can use those
prompts if you wish (talisman doesn't come with any at this stage) or
make your own.. the format is, first line is the speed in milliseconds,
the following lines are each frame of the prompt.

Note, if you use pablodraw to make these (or some other ansi editor) you
will need to remove any ansi codes preceding the number on the first line.

The prompt files can use pipe codes, or ansi codes.

    Very cool.

I'll get ready and steal a few RCS prompts ahead of time while waiting for 19-dev ;)

you will need to remove any ansi codes preceding the number on the
    first line.

I was going to ask you what you use for the larger screen size menu's but
now you mention pablodraw so I grabbed that and will check it out.

    ... That's not a bug, that's a feature.

I like pablodraw.. the currently available version is a bit crashy on
anything but windows, but I hear there is a dev version that's supposed
    to fix things.

There's also mobius, which is very good, but it does things slightly differently and I guess I just got used to pablo draw.

I'll get ready and steal a few RCS prompts ahead of time while waiting
    for 19-dev ;)

I'm thinking I'll do 19-dev very soon. Fixing those bugs in postie
revealed some squish bugs which everything uses, so kind of glad you had
issues lol (or we wouldn't have got the bugs)

Also added a newuser lua script (similar to party time) today, it only
does new users, as talisman doesn't ask for birthdates.

As I only run windows that's okay for me. :) Well I do have a ubuntu
install on the chromebook that I'll use for multimail /if/ we ever are
allowed to leave our home to go to the trailer. (I leave my laptop there
    for the season)

We're in a new stay at home order that starts Monday.

There's also mobius, which is very good, but it does things slightly differently and I guess I just got used to pablo draw.

I'm a horrible artist but want to try and do some wide screen menus
while it will probably just be text it's something new to try.

Great! :) I'm just glad it's starting to all come together!

    I'll check it out.
