• Talisman echomail

From Mickey@21:1/156 to All on Wednesday, November 03, 2021 11:32:33
Hi All. I've been trying to get Talisman to import/export echomail to no success.
I can get Binki or Binkd to poll and receive mail, and the mail ends up where it should in the inbox. When Postie is started, the only log entry I ever get is,

2021-11-02 14:40:08 ERROR: Timeout waiting for pid file...

Postie's PID file is where it's supposed to be.

Can anyone shed any light on this. My inbox is full of mail so I know I'm at least half way there. <grin>

try deleting the Postie's PID in the data dir
and then run ./posie toss again

try deleting the Postie's PID in the data dir
and then run ./posie toss again

Initially, after this Postie started looking for its TOML?
I had it in the root directory (I run this in windows), not in data. The mail was processed. Expect a huge pile of test messages from me. :-)

    sorry...

    Didn't work. :-(
The mail arrives, Postie seems to process incoming but doesnt toss the messages into the appropriate message areas. Outgoing mail didn't leave the system.

    Onwards and upwards.
