It worked on x86_64 / 9.3 when I tried it last. I didn't test it
extensivly though.
You need to have proc mounted (though i think that's default?)

I tried to install the Amiga version of NetBSD on this machine, but the installer didn't like to even start... Might have somthing to do with the Buddha IDE card, as I read that NetBSD for the Amiga has very limited hardware support.
