  • Reordering file groups

    Hi All,

    Could some kind soul offer some advice regarding the reordering of file
    groups within mystic (i.e. the order they appear within the file index
    screen)?

    The order appears to follow that defined within the file group config dialog, but I can't seem to find a way of shuffling them around; there appears to be
    a "Move before" option via the config dialog's "/" command, but this doesn't appear to do anything useful.

    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    You should see a sort option in the / menu which gives you the choice to sort by ID or Alphabetically, by File Group (network), etc.

    To use the "move before" option, you first need to select a file base and then in the / menu choose copy, then move the cursor to the base below where you want to move the chosen base to, and then hit move before. Think of it like a cut/paste scenario.

    MeaT to the rescue once again: not sure why my geriatric brain couldn't
    figure this out, but the copy/move paradigm worked like a charm :)

    This is precisely why, in my opinion at least, fsxNet is the most helpful community around.
