  • how to sorting messages

    hello, sorry for (maybe) stupid question but i am newbie....
    On Mystic all message areas are sorted by date, from oldest to newest; when I enter an area, i see oldest.
    Is there a way (server or client side) to sort from them differently?

    If you use a special client for reading messages (such as an offline mail/QWK reader or a reader operating directly on the message base files on disk such as GoldEd+), this would be specific for each client, so you would need to check the manual for those clients.

    For Mystic itself, the messages in a message area is shown in order by their internal message numbers in the message base file. I'm not aware of any possibility of sorting the listings of messages.

    OK, yep, then Mystic's message readers will determine the options available (i.e., none for the sorting order).
