Where is the spam through the fsxNet FTN<>QWK Gateway (21:4/10) coming from?

Spammers don't use QWK or do they?

I haven't noticed it but it could be coming from the gateway system or one of the QWK nodes connected there.

Spammers will spam any way they can get in.. :(

I still doubt they know QWK and are able to send SPAM the real QWK way.

I doubt if spammers know about telnet/rlogin/ssh or QWK. They could do that but I have never seen them do it.

Synchronet has a web interface also and it is possible for someone to create an account on the BBS on the web page. Once they do that they can read/reply/post from the web page or from telnet/rlogin/ssh if they chose. I don't think bots can put all that together but a person could do that.

They log in via Synchronet Web Interfaces, just like they do with forum software.
