So I am a newbie to nodelists.

Where in SBBS or Irex do you compile the nodelist, or do you have to
get a seperate compiler. I know other BBS software have built
    compilers.

    Does SBBS?

What does everyone else do for nodelists?

Any websites or refernce or help is appreciated!

Chad, do yourself a favor and dump IRex. Unless you have the 1000 node server edition it will not read the nodelist. Get binkd. The cfg is very easy and it uses a txt style nodelist created from the St. Louis nodelist. There are perl scripts that will do the conversion for you as well. If you connect to the I-BINKD fileecho a new nodelist is hatched each week based upon the normal one.

You can find some info here...

If you need any help just drop a note...

can you utilize a nodelist in Irex? or do you know?

Irex will use the nodelist to enter information when you set up the
nodes in the Binkd server. Somebody said the 1000 node version will
use the nodelist normally, but the version I have here will not. Only
    as I stated --- SBBSecho 2.27-Win32

Originally the author said in the 1000 node version it would use the nodelist to send to unauthorized systems not listed in Irex's Never worked for me that's why I switched to binkd. Although Irex had a nice compliment of available servers included, I never needed them as everything Irex offered was already in Synch. The mailer section was all I needed... thus the switch.

I advised Chad to switch as well... his choice..

    Have a good day Joe!
