OK I got 99.9% of the fidonet down...

Ran into a snag... where do I put the nodelist file to get jsexec nodelist.js to compile it so I can send netmail. Can't find this
    anywhere on the wiki.

sbbsecho has nothing to do with a nodelist. It's the mailer that needs the nodelist. If you're running binkd, then you're going to need a file named "binkd.txt" which is hatched every week and put the path where it can be found in your binkd.cfg file OR, you can use the root-domain for binkd.net that I presently don't use due to I've never registered and I find it easier to use a local txt file.

You're NC should have the binkd.txt available. If not, let me know and I'll send you a copy. Just remember, you'll need a separate copy for each FTN style network you belong to.

Once you get the binkd.txt, youi can send a netmail by using a 3D (3 dimensional) address refers to an FTN address containing the zone, net, and node numbers (i.e. recipient@1:266/404). sbbsecho will do what needs to be done to properly convert the netmail into something that binkd will understand.

you don't have to be registered on binkd.net to use it...

As I stated, I am not familiar with the process and for the lack of knowledge... I'll work with my txt copy. That old KISS strategy... ;)

    2. nodelist.js has nothing to do with the FidoNet nodelist. I'm not sure where you got that idea, but you can actually *read* a .js file and see what it's for.

Can't find this anywhere on the wiki.

Maybe you don't need it then. :-)

Please... I can't even remember my own Node Number and it's going to be 1:2320/1 and 1:2320/100 lol.

I vaguely remember Synchronet having the capability to look up node numbers in a nodelist while sending mail. I could be wrong... but it seems like it was once there.

You're probably thinking of a 3rd party program like FNLScan.
