No need to reply.. just checking updated log entry request...
so you're testing it, too, hunh? ;)
we've got debug level set and all log options turned on... we see the
new line nicely... it would be great to see more, too... something like this single message exported to two system during the export phase...
exporting message #1234 to 1:234/567 (12345678.pkt)
exporting message #1234 to 1:432/987 (23456789.pkt)
and then something like this when the pkt(s) get added to a bundle if bundles are used
adding 12345678.pkt to bundle wxyzabcd.th1 for 1:234/567
adding 23456789.pkt to bundle lmnopqrs.th1 for 1:432/987
finally following up with the newly added line... then there'll be a complete trace from export of message, into the pkt, into the bundle if used and finally which the ?lo in a BSO environment...

you're quite welcome and thank you for taking the bull's horns

Not a problem.... just bugs me when people point the finger at thos software without due diligence..
Same. Which is why I wasn't about to do a damn thing for the guy. Kudos
to you for that, though.
BTW, ask him if that could be part of the Informational logging rather
thn debug. I have 300 different echo folders and it's certainly
putting a hurting on the size of the log... :)
Debug mode in any software is supposed to put a hurt on the size of
your log. Unless you don't care, or you rotate your logs, you may want
to consider NOT running in debug mode all of the time. Only when there
is an issue that needs addressing do you really need to be in that
mode. Debug mode is for when you need every bit of possible information the software can give in order to pinpoint a problem. When there are no problems, you're better of staying in the less detailed logging mode.
At least that's how I understand it, anyways. YMMV. :)
