Nice here also. I'm going for a motorcycle ride.

There should be a standard about the FTSC closing shop from Friday evening 6pm UTC till Monday morning 8am UTC with observance of all our European holidays. Very little attention should be paid to the US-exit day as it set a very bad example for the British.

Okay I went through my logs and backups ... I have Ward's original
post, and Ward's reply to Jeff. However, I did not receive Jeff's reply
    to Ward.

    * NICK * Did you get it and not toss it? Or you not receive it either?
It is not in any PKT file from the past 24hrs.

With the large volume of mail my system processes in total, it is not something I am able to easily troubleshoot. Not impossible, just not easy.

However - It is exceptionally rare that "missed mail" happens here.

Can we start a new thread in Fidotest?

Which has happened before in the days of Black Hole Bob and dysfunctional links.

I don't see how a D'Bridge-system, which both Nick and I run, would not toss a message.

My advice to you is to link Fidoweb-style ...

What exactly is Fidoweb? (Multi-link?) I was just Curious if Nick saw
Jeff's message - as your reply goes from you, to nick, to me. Not sure
where Jeff is - looking at ^aREPLY - it had to go through Nick to get
to you, unless you get Z1 echos from someone else too?? If so, then
that explains why you could get it, and not I.

    Thanks!
    O.

    Yes.

I entertain a number of multiple links. If a bona-fido <sp> message gets hung-up somewhere, it'll reach anyway via another route. And if the original one makes it anyway, it goes in the bit-bucket as a dupe.
