Well, let's look inside...
Hmmm... fixing spelling is good, but is not what I'd call "writing the code". Also, even while performing such a simple task, you had to
recover from fuqup with some files "added by accident", but had not do anything to prevent these (and similar) fuqups in the future.
I see you are not yet ready for participating in the FTSC.

Greetings gentlemen.
I am fully aware that, as a very junior member of the Fidonet
community, my voice should not have much weight in these
proceedings. However, I feel the need to respond to certain
things:

I'd like to remind you of the specific wording of the selection
process, sir:
"To be selected as a FTSC member, an individual must be a
Fidonet node, and should be actively involved in Fidonet.
*Examples* include having put out a Fidonet-related product or
having updated a product in the preceding two years, or having
experience as a Coordinator, Echomail Coordinator or mail or file
Hub." (Emphasis on 'examples' by me)
"writing the code", as you put it, is not a hard requirement for
FTSC membership. It is merely an example, and in fact, that
specific example doesn't mention code at all, just "updated".
Not to mention the other ways in which Sean has fulfilled these
examples! Remind me again who's Chief Editor of FIDOGAZETTE? Is
this not a "Fidonet-related product"?
More importantly, these examples are only used to qualify the
phrase "actively inolved in Fidonet." I daresay it would be
difficult to convince anyone that Sean is *not* actively
involved.
Basing membership solely on one's having 'written code' for
Fidonet completely ignores both the letter and the spirit of the
selection process.
Thank you for reading this far. Good day, gentlemen.
Well, whaddyaknow. I completely agree with everything you've said.
the author of numerous BBS doors. While doors are not technically a "part" of FidoNet, they certainly are part of running a BBS, which is obviously closely tied to FidoNet.
Some of these grumpy fucks just like to hear themselves talk, as it
makes them feel important, and keeps their illusion of being part of the "ruling class" of FidoNet alive.
I see you are not yet ready for participating in the FTSC.

I see you are not yet ready for participating in the FTSC.There has been a lot of code that I have written that I have
simply given Andrew, who is the head of the project, to put
into the codebase without any attribution by me.
I have never seen any of your programs that you claim to have
written yet

I am a former RC (R11). I also am a backup nodelist clerk for Zone 1 if fo some reason Nick's system can't handle it because all the ZC position reall is for is an overglorified nodelist clerk.

The more likely scenario is something happening to me personally. And thats when the Z1 Sysops can easily call another election to have me replaced. Maybe Z1 goes without the nodelist for a days, maybe a few weeks, but nobody really cares because Z1 is largely quiet, laid-back, whatever happens happens, we do not have the Nodelist Police, its 2022
not 1992, nobody here is begging for my hat, "we'll sort it out if shit happens" type of comradery.

You have no added value, Ward.
You never have and you never will. It is
pitiful that you being retired and all you can do is sit around and be a keyboard warrior. Then again, that's all you have been. Getting voted out of the IC position in 2004 and making a fool of yourself saying that because Z2 supposedly made up 89% of the nodelist, your ZCC vote should make up 89% of the vote...
what kind of fools do you think we are?

I second this. That's a horrible thing to say, even to an enemy.
Shaun,
You have bypassed the question in the FIDOGAZETTE-echo, so I'm permiting myself to repeat it here:
What defines someone or something as "the enemy" ?
The thing is, I don't have the answer to that...

And just like Lefaso, Wayne Christenside, Tim what-his-name, etc,
whatever their names are - who cares - I made our effeminate
troll a genuine polite offer in Fsx to be listed in our zone, you
know, to escape that fascist dictatorship he apparently suffers
in his zone.
I allow all trolls the chance to actually stir some revolt to
have me ousted since they all scream the same nonsense... he
could participate in the much-coveted Z1C echo where theres just
SOOOO much flames and conspiracy going on.
But that would mean he'd have to be listed with potential
supporters of a supposedly-evil US president and... well... gee
Dan... thats meltdown city.
Does Chicago have a favourite popcorn preference?
Oh yes, he has a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Just
like many of the other Euro-commies in Fido who hate the USA.

Actually, that ZC1-election at that time was the best thing that could've happened to Z1 and to Fidonet as a whole.
Besides, you did not dismiss that you are my buddy ...
"That is why how he and his bootlicker, Oliver "Oli" Rupp, operate ..."
.. and ...
"your asskissing buddies like Oli, Winifred, and Michiel ..."
That 'Winifred' is actually 'Wilfred', your boss-node ... 8-)
