The idiocy of the situation is that a program is created for accessing the network, in which you can _only_ read and write, as well as instructions for it for those who cannot read. ;)
Moreover, the need for instructions for those who can still read is completely denied.

I have never positioned the Telegram BBS as something promising and revolutionary.
Initially, several lines of code were made not even for myself, but at the request of one of Fido's sysops exclusively for his personal use. Then I became interested and I made a more developed version for myself, and only after August became interested in this, I began to develop it and put the code in order.
Now I became interested in making a full-fledged tosser out of this. Perhaps I will add something else to this, and perhaps I will abandon it if over time it ceases to be of interest to someone else.

Obviously, there are people that will wonder why this?
That's something that I have never quite understood about Fidonet. There is an underlying hesitancy to adopt new technology. Like accepting new somehow invalidates the old.

It doesn't. Nor does it mean that you have to use it. It's only a tool to allow people to access a wonderful communication platform in a new way.

Stas seems to like developing this, and August sees potential in it, both as a way to keep up with echo messages, and a way perhaps for people to discover or rediscover Fidonet and what it offers.
