Indeed. And the TGUID is unique to you. Anyone can send you a pvt netmail message to you on Telegram using that. To read that message, all you need to do is have chat open with the Fido2telebot bot.

How did you manage to insert a subject line in a *new* message with the Telegram app?

Not dumb at all. All I simply did there was type in "Testing from
Telegram." and hit send. It used the same line of text for both the subject and message body.

I still haven't figured out how to use the TGID for netmails yet.

(And I have to translate in my head that TG = Telegram and not Telegard) ;)

Why do you think so? Quite normal curiosity. ;)

How did you manage to insert a subject line in a *new* message with
    the Telegram app?

If the message, or quoted message, does not contain the line "--Subj: Message subject--", ending with a line feed, then the first forty characters of the message are taken as a subject.

    Have nice nights.

If you see @TGUID: 1234567890123, youu can send vis netmail the message: -----------------------------------------------
    From : Jay Harris 1:229/664
    To : 1234567890123 2:460/58 -----------------------------------------------

If the gate does not know the Fido address of the message sender, then the kludge @REPLAYTO 2:460/58 1234567890123 is also substituted. Otherwise, it is possible to contact the author of the message directly by netmail and this kludge contains his Fido address.

    Have nice nights.

Excellent, that answers the question admirably, thanks.

I am currently testing another way to send messages to Fido. Errors are possible. However, this method will allow to eliminate some of the limitations of the previous one and send messages to netmail.

Perhaps you are on the road or far from your computer and only Telegram is at hand, but you wanted to write a personal message.

Yes, of course, silly me :)

However, I would need to know the value held in the @TGUID kludge data but from what somebody else said in here, Telegram doesn't "see" it ??

This is a unique identifier for the user. The rest can be changed or absent altogether. Telegram clients usually do not show it to the user, using the Name instead, as a more human-readable thing.
This identifier can be used to write a personal message.
