  • Returning To BBS

    After returning to the BBS system after years of not logging in- I find myself very rusty, and having troubles navigating the system. Do any users have resources they could share (manuals and the like) for general BBS knowledge?

    With Synchronet (and this BBS, Vertrauen, specifically), you have a choice of command shells and the menus displayed and options available to you vary depending on which command shell you have chosen.

    For a user manual that covers the default (classic) command shell, check out: http://synchro.net/docs/user.html

    It's pretty old and likely somewhat out-dated, but much of it is still completely relevant.
