    Is there a way to bypass the "Inter-BBS Active Users" and "Synchronet Minesweeper Top 20 Winners" during the logon sequence and jump straight to the main menu ?

    Yes, login with "!user-id" instead of just "user-id".

    Similarly, you can go straight to the QWK prompt by logging in with "*user-id". --
