Life obligations forced me to take a step back from my BBS - CP/M Den - for a bit. First it was work obligations and then I was traveling for weeks with out my computer in tow (long story). I know this sounds crazy but now that I'm back, I cannot login!. I was sure I knew my passwords - but apparently I must have tried to be clever. Is there any way to access my BBS via the local console and reset my passwords or do I need to nuke it and start over. There are a bunch of files that I would hate to lose.
It's Synchronet running on a raspberry pi running Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster). CPMDEN.DDNS.NET
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you so much for this info! I did look at https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:support and the very first paragraph directed me here - "If you're trying to get Synchronet technical support via e-mail, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, or any other social media/discussion group not specifically listed here, you're doing it wrong. Please go here instead or read on." the "here" brought me to this page - I apologize is this is not the correct place to post, I am a total novice.
That said, My password is correct - I must have confused the system password. Is that stored somewhere I can find?
