    Hi Thomas!

i would have to travel there from munich and i'm not sure
if it is worth that effort...

I really didn't know there would be somebody else from Munich, who is reading the guitar echo. My Fido-BBS (Node of Confusion) was switched off end of last year, so it is good that I am getting my mail feed via ftp from Rich Lockyer.

What fido-bbs are you using for connecting fido-net?

    Take care
    Sven

I know the Sysop Markus in person for now about 5 years... I have my own BBS (Cheops-BBS) with a direct feed from the new Hub8000 over IP (DSL-Flatrate). That system is linked directly to our Host 2480 and the NC's system, so our routing times are normally only 1-2 minutes till the messages are leaving the host-system. Used to have a bbs from 1991 to 1993 on an Atari ST, which was dedicated to MIDI's, lyrics, tabs and all the other stuff interesting to musicians.

    Take care,
    Thomas

Still thinking about that, as it would be really interesting to me...
