    Hello all!

WAS reading rolling STone's piece on the concert for Ahmet ERtegun in London. From reviews it sounds like LZ was back on their game.

Imho if we hear anything it'll be another studio recording from them, maybe not
full blown touring as that's a young man's game for the most part.

Also don't think it'll be anything but an old school album, everybody recording
at once with maybe some guitar and vocal dubs. I don't think you'll see the "old rockers with guest appearances" shtick from them either. Robert can do enough of that solo, JImmy and Mr. Jones have both been session guns in their younger days, and even some since Lz folded up the tent a couple decades back.

    Regards,
    Richard
... Amazing how much tape is on a 10" reel when it's not.

Look at the Rolling Stones? And other vintage rock groups.

I would love to see what LZ can do with the modern instruments... I mean look at what the Eagles have done.

Just because they are old does not mean that they are DEAD!

ME too. YEt it would be hard were I in their position to envision myself doing
the full blown touring thing again. YES it's easier on that level, but still a drain on the body, especially when you've been away from it. THe stones are accustomed to it, and know what they need to do to get into proper mental and physical shape. i recall reading where MIck and KEith, especially Mick start into a serious physical training regimen months before the touring starts. WIth
modern sound system tuning techniques etc. though it would sure be need to hear
what those guys could do, especially in a real theater instead of one of those darned sports arenas that always sound like crap, at least in the seats guys like me can afford.

HOpe you got that article I sent routed btw.
