The whole concept is quite intriguing, but personally I just don't
have the technical facility to make good use of the extra string.

Hell... I can't handle a Carvin 6-string neck. Most 5's are
pushing it. I'd like a Jazz-bass style 5-string, which would
probably have a neck about the size of a P-bass.
