    Oh well, we had our share of those too. Anybody
    remember the Cowsills or the 1910 Fruitgum Company?

    Of course. The Cowsills were the basis for The Partridge Family, and were going to BE the Partridge Family, but when ABC wanted everyone but the mom (Using Shirley Jones instead), the family said no, and we got the TV family.

    Cowsills had a few big hits, like "Indian Lake", "The Rain, The Park, And Other
    Things" and "Hair". They also did the theme for the TV Show "Love, American Style". They have a website at http://www.cowsills.com/.

    How's that for usless trivia? :-)
