    There is not a lot of technical discussion on here since the norm of
    amateur radio has apparently been denigrated to "black box" gear requiring zilch knowledge of radio. ;-(

    I'm afraid I did. Perhaps one day I'll be able to buy all the back-issues on a

    When I went to the local club meeting, I was surprised by the 60m announcement:
    it's not every day we're granted a new band! :-)

    No, nothing planned, Andy, so don't boil the kettle dry! I do have an
    Extra Class (KK7GL), acquired in the UK, but have not yet used the call.
