    Hello All!

    THIS is an interesting place:

    http://mailcatch.com

Could prove to be useful for those times when you really don't
want to disclose a real email address.

Oh, these types of sites have been around for a long time.

They're good, but tend to get blacklisted over a period of time.

The scramble email address is cool:

    mdteg6+8ox131pgxxx8s@sharklasers.com

But how do they make money to make this service worth the upkeep?

I can appreciate that. Some of these have recently shown up
as Registered users on a couple of WordPress sites that I look
    after.

Registration at the sites is only required for posting
comments. But the @mailchimp.com registrants don't comment.

Since @mailchimp.com addresses are temporary, so will be the
    registrants! Hhahahhah!

Looks like there are robots out there testing the register
process with fake email addresses? Too bad I can't tell which
IP address the @mailchimp.com user was connecting from; it
would be nice to block those right away. The IP address only
gets recorded when a Comment is actually posted.

Why not just install a captcha plugin and hook it into the signup page?

The signup page *does* have a captcha. :( Obviously, the
bots are familiar with some of the sequences it generates.

The particulatr site operates with an earlier edition of WP. I
can't accomodate the site theme/contents to a newer WP at this
    time.
