    it seems to me that dbridge already fits that bill... what do you think is missing that can't already be done with debridge or other existing software that works quite well with any FTN mailer or tosser???

    Sort of. I'm using it here under dosbox on a Fedora host OS, and if
    I reboot to windows 10 I can do the same.

    It is still mainly a DOS program optimize to work in 32 bit Windows, so yes it sits in a Command Window

    I think that is on the To Do list but not sure.
