I have tried to change some of the files match to my own
use and tried some of the scripts as runpoll and runpoll-binkd.
áThe help file has examples noted of which scripts to run...
Hmm, if it should show it in some help file haven't I seen in the
packet, there is only the documentation of doc's ad this is not
tell of which script to run for batch file runs and which runpoll
file to use.

á áMore specifically; the fidogate.info file.á There should also beá
a fidogate.texi file, from which you can create html files using
texi2html. á áIn those files, there is a writeup about using Fidogate
with points or leaf nodes, which note which scripts should be run
regularly:
rungate
runin
runmail
runnews
runout

ok, This have I now running each hour ant right after is I using a mix
of the script runpoll-binkd and runpoll. THen is there then if in fidogate.conf and areas is right setup. The examples showing a technical point as this: for my zone 900 system where hpt runs the mail as
900:900/0 + 900:104/1 address 900:900/0.1 gateaddress 900:900/0.1

The way I currently have the scripting set up; I run those
scripts noted above after receiving mail, & run the following
just before polling the systems' uplink:
====<cut>==============================
BINDIR=/usr/lib/fidogate/bin
cd $BINDIR
# Gateway
$BINDIR/send-fidogate
# Tosser w/o file attachments
$BINDIR/runtoss outpkt
$BINDIR/runtoss outpkt/mail
$BINDIR/runtoss outpkt/news

Note that there is no requirement to set the GateAddress but if
you
do, it should be different from the main Addresses. If not set, it
is
assumed to be the same as the primary aka: I generally don't set
it...

Are you saying that locally posted messages aren't getting out?
Are they showing up in the outgoing spool log? On my system, running INN
v1.7, that is at /var/spool/news/out.going/fidogate; it's what
send-fidogate uses to determine what to send out.

Are you saying that locally posted messages aren't getting out?
Not exactly this, just when pullnews
have got from 5 to 50 articles home in the groups
it is like they have got to unwanted and exprired system and
then is fidogate not find the new articles and just show in
log that there is no articles to gate.

I don't use INN v2.x; I use v1.7, which does not use that program.
If/when I have time, I may set up a test system using the later
versions
of INN; Debian also has v2.4.3 of INN available, but I don't usually
use that because it's more complex than I really need...
Yes, they is all setup in my areas file.have got from 5 to 50 articles home in the groups

Are the echos & their associated newsgroups listed in the file
/etc/fidogate/areas?
Are their newsgroups listed in /var/lib/news/active?That should they why I have used "/usr/lib64/news/bin/ctlinnd newgruop (groupname) m
Are the newsgroups listed properly in the fidogate entry in
/etc/news/newsfeeds ?
