    Hello Robert!

I have tried changed of fidogate config fiel setup by numbers, but it like more
that Fidogate not run as it shall o the articles is gone away and fidogate not seen new articles self if it should fine lot of new articles.
Here is what i have write to in a netmail.

    -----
Some one have told me to setup and run fidogate up as a technical point gate system, so i have tried it by this:

    Now Have I in fidogate.conf
    ## INTERNET ADDRESSES

    # hostname and domain
    Hostname kofo
    Domain .kofobbs.net
    # optinal domain name for entries in HOSTS file HostDomain .kofobbs.net

    ## FIDONET ADDRESSES ##
    Address 2:236/150.98
    Address 8:7606/150.98
    Address 110:300/0.1
    Address 111:111/0.1

    #GateAddress (not in use)

    Zone default .rmininet rmininet -
    Zone 1 .fidonet.org FidoNet out.001
    Zone 2 .fidonet.org FidoNet out
    Zone 3 .fidonet.org FidoNet out.003
    Zone 4 .fidonet.org FidoNet out.004
    Zone 5 .fidonet.org FidoNet out.005
    Zone 6 .fidonet.org FidoNet out.006
    Zone 8 .fmlynet.org fmlynet out.008
    Zone 110 .linuxnet.ftn linuxnet out.06e
    Zone 111 .sysoptech.net stn out.06f
    Zone 900 .rmininet rmininet out.384

    #############
    ## Gateway configuration setup
    ##############
    ...
    ...
    ## FTN - InterNet Gateway. If set Internet mail will be routed via FTN ## and this gateway. (USE ONLY FOR POINTSYSTEM!!) #Gateway 900:900/0.1

    .....
    --------------------
I have find if I change fido address or maybe gateway to more used number have I this number free to use as technical node numbers.
    2:236/151
    8:7601/2
    110:110/3
    111:111/3
    900:100/2 (or 900:900/2)
Then is then what is the best
Run fidogare as a point number gate system or node point gate system.

The 3 fiogate example cinfig files shows this:
    For point:
    Address 2:2499/999.9
    #GateAddress 2:2499/999.9
    #Gateway 242:4900/99
    ---------
    Full node gate config.
    Morannon ->
    Fidogate.conf:
    Address 2:2452/110
    Address 2:2452/111
    Address 242:1000/1
    Address 242:1000/2
    Address 242:1000/0
    Address 124/1249/9999
    Address 44:4932/605
    #
    GateAddress 2:2452/110.1
    GateAddress 2:2452/110.1
    GateAddress 242:4900/99
    GateAddress 242:4900/99
    GateAddress 242:4900/99
    GateAddress 124:1249/9999.1
    GateAddress 44:4932/605
    #
    #Gateway 242:4900/99
    ...
    ---------
    The third example for orodruin
    Fidogate.conf :
    Address 2:2452/110.2
    Address 242:1000/5
    #GateAddress 2:2453/110.2
    #GateAddress 242:1000/5
    #
    #
    #Gateway 242:4900/99
    ...
    --------

So it is what there is the right to use for my tech. point or node gate system.

    Take care,
    Gert

I don't think the issue has anything to do with which akas you're
    using...

So it is what there is the right to use for my tech. point or node gate system.

I'm not sure of the point of the question; as long as the fidogate configuration is consistant as to which akas you're using & the systems uplink(s) know which akas are being use, I don't see how it makes any difference.
