    From Bo Simonsen@2:236/100 to All on Saturday, May 02, 2009 00:00:09
    Hi All,

    I'm not quite ready to release the sources of daydream 2.15a yet (of course available on request).

    The details which I want to fix before a release is:

    * Autocreation of Fidonet areas
    * Rescanning of Fidonet areas
    * Polish my FILES.BBS <-> DD python script
    * Polish the text file autogeneration program (in DD a textfile for every conference has to be made of the contents of messagebases and file
    directories. Pretty nice if you want to customize your BBS 100%, since
    you can make different looks for each conferences, however the list of messagebases could be autogenerated which I've made a short C program for)

    So far I've created a stable Fidonet tosser and cleanup the source and
    fixed several bugs. It's just details which is left, I hope to have something usable within a month.

    what will fully working raid areafix cost me ? :)

    husky is nearly there, but !

    i like raid groups as defined in raid file from janis

    so not just one areaforward pr node but multiple areaforward file pr uplink, so
    it can be %avail in groups for the downlinks

    can i be there within a mount ? :)

    The raid file is nice, but when I looked at the ones avialable, they
    looked quite inconsistent.. maybe I'm wrong.

    Yes I'll take a look at it.. It's probably internally in the BBS ...
    But the external FS editor does also have a few bugs.. Corrected
    one but there is still more to go..

    Writing such a thing as a full-screen editor is actually not easy..

    I promised Alan to put it on the BBS, but unfortionally I haven't done
    it yet.. But wait a week or so, and it should be there.. I rewrote the
    entire make construction, which does only create the source code but not install text files and so on.. I wanna have this done, probably by extracting
    a ZIP archive.. Also I wanna test out a few features I've implemented in DD-Echo. I want to make sure that they work correctly.

    make a virtual system() so that sysop can use VIM or Emacs :)

    (amiga was there, still have to see it on linux)

    only if you are borring :)
