• QOdem for Linux

From Robert Wolfe@1:261/20 to All on Sunday, December 26, 2010 22:51:44
Hi all! Just trying out qodem 1.0 for Linux :) It's basically a Linux clone of QModem for DOS -- but with telnet built in ;) I have an amd64 .deb package available for it if anyone is interested in giving it a try.

Nice. Worth it just for the fact that it sets the codepage properly for you..

You can grab them from my FTP server at robertwolfe.org. The .debs
are in the /fp_builds/linux/qodem_1.0.0 directory for your consumption.

Scott, I have .deb archives for the amd64 and i386 versions.

How can one obtain a copy Robert? Can I find it through Ubuntu Software
Package Manager or do I have to download it specifically from somewhere?

Yep... I grabbed the source archive here, fed it to gcc, and ended up with a (mostly) working binary. It does have a few bugs in it, but for the most part it does what it says it does.
