• Jam msg bases and Netmail areas

From Vince Coen@2:250/1 to All on Thursday, August 06, 2015 16:26:53
    Hello All!

HAving problems with netmail being exported without getting 'not all msgs exported trying mbfido s -f' etc

Used to use some Jam based utility that cleans up the entire jam and netmail bases.

Cannot remember what and where, can any one help?

I've seen this message too, but in my case at least, it is the result of posting a new file announcement in a local (vs. echomail) message area. I haven't noticed any issues with exporting netmail from the BBS message bases.

Something from the hpt package perhaps?

That really could do with some work on it as it does not compile out of the box
but looking at the details of both sqfix and hptutils they don't seem to offer a check and clean up function - just do it which is not over helpful in avoiding the problems re-arising.

As it is I deleted all msgs from my netmail areas (Jam based) but the problem reappears a few msgs later.

Beginning to think it is related to Golded so may have to look for another editor - most annoying .

Seem to have to say that a lot lately :)
