Im joining the world of maximus bbs. i figured out how to setup Squish and I have the bbs in a skeleton configuration right now.

Whats the difference with version 3.02 versus 3.01 and has anyone built any test versions under dos or win32?

Also how do I do local file uploads, it seems the software will not let me do local file uploads.

Also Sean thank you for the page. I decided Maximus would better fill my needs. It seems I am also on a wilderness of mirrors to find my dream bbs software. Maybe I'll find my dream bbs software before I find my dream love in real life.
    lol

    Hiya, Matt.

Whats the difference with version 3.02 versus 3.01 and
    has anyone built any
test versions under dos or win32?

To be honest, I don't know of too many differences except a version number change. Then again, I'm running Maximus/2, so I haven't had a need to change.

Also Sean thank you for the page. I decided Maximus
    would better fill my needs.

    my dream bbs software.

You're quite welcome. If for some reason my Maximus site is down, you an find the files mirrored at http://www.filegate.net/maximus_bbs (I believe that's the
URL). Maximus was/is a widely diseminated software so there's stuff all over the place for it.

Oh, to answer your question about replacing the internal FSE: there is a file on the Maximus Home Page about replacing the internal FSE with IceEdit. I have
never personally changed the FSE, so I don't know if you can use that with other editors.

    Later,
    Sean
