I can't find anything that describes the changes between Maximus 3.00 & 3.01, but I suspect most if not all Y2K bugs were fixed when Maximus 3.01 was released, otherwise we'd be hearing about them from people running Max 3.01. Ditto, Squish 1.10 & 1.11.

If you grep for y2k in the CVS you get this:

    squish/s_misc.c: /* Y2K kludge date fix */

If you want to keep yourself busy, look for 2038 bugs:

    Good luck ;-)

Yeah but the original v3.01 release was apparently not y2k compliant.

To my knowledge, a y2k compliant copy-over-existing-executables patch of v3.01 was later released. ie. there was no version changes between the original non-y2k and y2k compliant executables.

Ah, I'd forgotten that completely, thanks. Confusingly they are "beta" versions but still marked as version 3.01 even though the full version of 3.01 had been out several years - but the files all have the timestamp of 1999-01-01
    03:02:00, ie. version 3.02!

Anyway, for reference I've uploaded them here:

    Squish also had Y2K patches:
