• Download a file directly

    Hi, everyone.

I am wanting to a caller to download a ZIP archive directly from the main menu,
specifically my othernet's infopack. Is there a direct command in Max to do this or do I have to use Key_Poke?

Direct as in telling Max the actual filename...or maybe create a MECCA to do it...

    Later,
    Sean

command in Max to do this or do I have to use Key_Poke?

    Found my maximus setup. LOL

I used key_poke. I had offline mail in welcome.mec and used it for
    uploading / downloading.

    [/downloadbw]
    [key_poke]m;o;d;y;y
    [quit]

    [/uploadrep]
    [key_poke]m;o;z;c:\max\doors\maxrep\tinysbbs.rep;g;y;n
    [quit]

I /think/ I had a CGI program that allowed one to upload / download offline mail and that's why this is here... though I can't remember now.

    Oooh... :D

I used key_poke. I had offline mail in welcome.mec and used it for uploading / downloading.

Okay, that's what I was thinking I'd have to do. Probably just easiest
to write a MECCA script to do the deed.

I /think/ I had a CGI program that allowed one to upload / download offline mail and that's why this is here... though I can't remember
    now.

Oh, I'd love it if you could find that!

    Thanks for the help.

... You're only young once. How long that once lasts is the question.

It was done due to a mtel/32 maximus upload bug. As not many people
use mtel anymore that's not really a big deal.

Oh, I'd love it if you could find that!

I found it, but I can't find the source code, and it's highly inter
twined with my old setup and it wasn't very secure.

... If it tastes good, spit it out. It's bad for you.
