Has your MP3 based portable music player affected the way you listen to music compared to throwing cds on the cd changer?

The stereo I put in my car can handle MP3s - I now only have about six CDs in the car (with about 100 songs on them each) instead of several dozen.

    Hello, Matt!

I still burn copies of tunes onto audio cd for the car. I don't have an mp3 player for the car. And I don't want to use an FM transmitter with my
    portable mp3 player.

    Hello everybody.

I am getting annoyed by itunes and all the music management software programs, I just want something that does not eat up all my hardware resources. even with
1gb of ram my computer chokes and locks up at times.

Right now I am trying out MusikCube for WinXP/NT

Say, to take this a little on the technical route, I have a CD I tried to extract, where the songs blend into each other. (Jimmy Page/Roger Plant Moroccan flavored thing.) When I ripped it to the MP3 player (automatic conversion as it copies) each track is separated. How would one keep the songs on the CD seamless from one another?
