    Is there anybody... out there?

That was a terrible rendition of Pink Floyd. But on a positive note, Five Finger Death Punch is coming to concert here again soon. :)

Last concert we went to was Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slaher about 4-5 months ago. I was just in awe that they can still play! Haha.

I was never really a fan of Anthrax or Megadeth, but wanted to go to see Slayer. And I must say, Slayer did a great job, and reminded me of the last time I went and saw them 15 years ago. :)

I have seen many bands over the years. I did see Anthrax along time ago when they opened up for Ozzy.

The last concert I went to that was a national act, was Alterbridge. They are incredible - even live. I had VIP passes and got to meet Mark Trimonti, Miles Kennedy and the rest of the band. I have a few pictures from that, which was about 5-6 years ago.

It was pretty fun. Once I got re-acclimated to the whole scenario. It was a long time since I've been to a show before that.

Alterbridge is basically Creed with a different singer. It is all the members of Creed, but with Miles Kennedy on vocals. Fantastic band! One of my favorites.. I have seen them twice, live.

They are very down to earth people, too.

That is another all time favorite band of mine!

I have seen Iron Maiden more times than any other band. I think three or four times - all back in the 80s and early 90s. I think I programmed half of my BBS
while listening to Maiden in the 80s/90s.

They are still great. I recently watched their Flight 666 tour video. Very cool!

Cool, I rememebr Scott Streap used to have issues where he brawled with 311 in
2005. But isnt Alterbridge still Creed now? Or basically they are the same band?

Of all the bands I've seen or heard over the years, Iron Maiden has to be in my top 5 favorites.. Unfortunately I've only seen them live once and by the time they finally came on stage I was pretty toasted (Day on the Green - smuggled in too much Bacardi) but still an awesome show. What I respect the most about the band is that after all these years, they are still going strong
and have perhaps the largest fan base in the world. they are always clean and in sync. I suppose it really helps that they have been able to avoid the typical downfalls of most groups - internal fighting, drugs and alcohol etc..

It's also pretty amazing that Bruce Dickinson is a commercial airline pilot. Their standards are set pretty high. Top all that off with some of the best music and lyrics out there and they are simply awesome!

If only Pink Floyd could have been able to keep it together.

Both bands exist. Creed and Alterbridge. The difference in lineup is only the
vocalists. Scott Stapp in Creed and Miles Kennedy in Alterbridge.

There was a time when Creed was broken up and Scott had a solo project. That is also the time when Alterbridge formed.

It is true that Scott was distanced from the band for various issues, including
drugs. Mark Tremonti and company are clean as an arrow and about the most down
to earth band members I have ever met. I even got to play a game of ping-pong with Mark after the show in Phili, PA.

    No doubt.

Iron Maiden shows are always top notch and they have a huge fan base, even without much radio play. They have always stuck to their original sound despite music trends, which I very much admire.
