    MMO012> download?

Since I rarely do either, I tend to buy the CD when I find it at a thrift store. To date, I have never bought a single online. It's good to have friends
who will loan you a CD and AudioGrabber works great! I think I only have about
    50GB of music though.

Most of the time, when buying a CD, it's for only one or two songs anyway.

    MMO012> download?

I find that I will download something from the Apple CD store if it's 'a trial' of some random artist I've never heard of. If I hear a local band in a bar I'm willing to go home and buy their music online in lieu of placing a tip
in the jar. For all other cases (incl. games, books, etc.) where I have the slightest inkling of care, I prefer to have the physical package to keep in my
    shelf-libraries.
