    There are several who do use it on a regular basis but the issue becomes time zones and who is on when etc. But when you can find someone to chat with it's an IRC experience couched in a BBS way :)

    Yeah, time zones are always the big problem in cases like this.

    As a side note, IREX is giving fits now under ArcaOS 5.0.1 by pegging out the CPU. I really hope that g00r00 comes up with a native OS/2 version soon. If there is anything I can do to help with that development, I would be happy to try and do the best I can to help out.

    You don't *have* to use Irex. You can use binkd which compiles just fine on OS/2 from what I've seen. Tommi Koivula compiles and uses it for OS/2 if you want to get in contact with him.

    Irex is one of, if not THE buggiest mailers still in use today.

    Stackfault is running an MRC server. He took over where Gryphon left off.

    bottomlessabyss.net (check the BBS listings for port #)

    That's the main server that just about everyone uses.
