    I wouldn't mind linking my system up to another Mystic system sometime
    and see what happens :)

    It's called echomail :-p

    I know I was just being cheeky :)

    There are several who do use it on a regular basis but the issue becomes time zones and who is on when etc. But when you can find someone to chat with it's an IRC experience couched in a BBS way :)

    Hi all! I was wondering if this was still around by any chance so, where does one download the mod from?

    This one is out-dated please do not use this.

    You can get this from my system { twinklebbs.net }, or others listed below. Cyberia BBS {cyberia.darktech.org}
    Agency BBS {agency.bbs.geek.nz}

    Check for Mystic Relay Chat and its version 1.1.

    Cheers!

    Yeah, time zones are always the big problem in cases like this.

    As a side note, IREX is giving fits now under ArcaOS 5.0.1 by pegging out the CPU. I really hope that g00r00 comes up with a native OS/2 version soon. If there is anything I can do to help with that development, I would be happy to try and do the best I can to help out.

    Just remember that I don't host the server anymore. It is currently being hosted at fluph.darktech.org, port 5000.

    You don't *have* to use Irex. You can use binkd which compiles just fine on OS/2 from what I've seen. Tommi Koivula compiles and uses it for OS/2 if you want to get in contact with him.

    Irex is one of, if not THE buggiest mailers still in use today.

    Nick

    So I was wondering is other sysops were out there running MRC as I am and if so, if they would not mind another Mystic system connecting to them.

    Stackfault is running an MRC server. He took over where Gryphon left off.

    bottomlessabyss.net (check the BBS listings for port #)

    That's the main server that just about everyone uses.
