• Echo address

From IB JOE@1:0/0 to All on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 09:43:01
I just posted a message stating I could not re-enter my fidonet address... I upgraded to the latest Alpha and it was after then I noticed ... could have happened before, I just noticed it then.

What I did is I went to the next available slot and entered it there and it worked... ergo if I used slot 2 it worked.

One other issue came up. I went to globally change all the addresses for my fidonet areas and it wouldn't change them.

I toggled all the areas ... press the required keys to globally change the slected areas .... and then it would say 0 areas changed.

I manually changed all the areas manually to change the echo mail addresses

    Thanx

yes slot one is for local address only so use slots two onwards for your othernet AKAs and all will be fine. :)

Did you tag the bases first using TAB key to place a * against each before
you call the global editor screen?

Gotta love when I think of a problem I want to resolve in my head while I am casually catching up / browsing the echos and of course Paul has a solution
for me a few minutes later from an old thread.
