With the different flavors of Mystic... If I were to change from on
flavor to the next can I just copy over all the sub directories and move on... or is there something in those sub directories that are protected between linux and non linux??

You can pretty much copy between each other. Only thing to worry/fix is the file syntax (how windows/DOS uses c:/ and Linux uses \home\local)
I've done it. all the files are compatible with each other
