just noticed something strange.. normally, I use golded to read/write
messages but today I decided to read via mystic, I noticed that Rick's
Netmails are showing up as coming from 1:340/400 instead of 1:340/201

golded, it says its coming from 202 but in mystic, it shows 400

    configuration info

I changed the "at" to ! .. notice the differences in the intl lines top is mystic, the bottom is golded, both looking at same message # 374

I am a bit confused by what I am looking at. Are these the same messages, ie, you're only changing how you read them? In other words both Mystic and GoldEd are both pointing to the same JAM message base files and looking at the same exact message?

There are three INTL lines listed. Are you saying that there are multiple INTL lines in this message? Mystic's reader doesn't change kludge lines it just shows the message contents, so it shouldn't be possible for GoldEd and Mystic to show different kludges on the identical BBS (unless you're showing my messages from two different BBS systems?)

yup thats exactly what I am saying - golded uses mystic's message areas

Yes, there are 3, and I know, both should be displaying the same info

There shouldn't be three INTL kludges on a message so that is certainly a problem to look into. Mystic itself does not touch INTL when its routing netmail, it only adds a VIA line and leaves everything else as-is.

In Mystic when you say its "showing up as" do you mean in the From field, or when replying to a message (or both?)?

Thanks for the heads up we'll get this figured out!

its both. its like it grabbing the Via line as its origin.

Can you post the kludge lines from the message without any changes/editing? I'd like to see the three INTL kludges to see the formatting and anything else that looks out of the ordinary.
