Off an Usenet News Group?? Not using FidoNET technology to send it... Interesting... I'll ask the author of the program to add fidonet technology
in... BTW, I will be testing my email soon does my email need TZUTC Kludge as
well??

SoupGate can/should add it. It seems to convert/delete the Date: header line from the original to the fidonet message too, so it could also add
a TZUTC kludge.

I sent a message through news.eternal-september.org... on
conference alt.bbs.mystic to see if it echoes into the fidonet
mystic... it was echoed in fine... But because
news.eternal-september.org didn't adhere to fido policies and or
the fido address that acted as a gateway didn't stamp it... Seems
odd!!!
These messages are showing up in DoveNet-General for some reason. Something is mis-configured for sure. Please fix.
I'm trying to locate someone at news.eternal-september.org to see why they are not adhering to Fido policies... It's a free service so I'm not expecting a response.
THe entity you want to locate and speak with is the FidoNet node that's providing the USENET gateway functionality, not the USENET provider. I would not expect any USENET provider to "adhere to Fido policies" much less even be aware of their existence.
Rob, that is the way I understood it. I left a test message and Wilfred treated it like a FidoNET test message. My response to Wilfred, the one you're responding to was me being sarcastic.
