I am not sure why I am getting the "Socket operation on non-socket" error message. I also have the IMAPD.EXE addon running.

Also, is 2.0 Pro now free? I spent the money for the pro license back in
2012, but I do not see a tab in the Weasel Settings Notebook to where I can enter my registration information.

I haven't tried to update to this latest version of 2.0 yet. But you might note that he put the 2.0 latest version up on Hobbs and the note indicates that
it is now free. Maybe that version is slightly different than your version and
    might react a little differently.

I did after I posted this message this message to the echo. Actually, I copied
and pasted it from my BBS over to an email to him :) But, yeah, I was surprised to see no tab in the settings notebook for me to enter my name and serial number into the configuration like there used to be.

As I recall, with the newer version (I ran 1.7x prior) there was an issue with Thunderbird's IMAP communication with Weasel's. Not sure if that has been fixed in the current releases of both packages yet or not.

Yeah, I did not get it from Hobbes directly, but from another site that LOOKS like Hobbes (I had also heard that Hobbes was having some issues in the past, but was able to connect to the site today).

I will have to check things out.

Actually, I have gotten two responses from him this weekend since I emailed him
AND he has version 2.01 of Weasel Pro available for downloading from his website. I believe he released that on Sunday or late Saturday.

PS2: i note you also posted the same initial messages in the os2user mailing list...

Yeah, I did. That was intentional to see if I could get answers from outside Fido as well.

Again, I am not on the mailing list, so I did not know this. Peter updated me on via email this weekend about that change.
