• LAMP Server on eCS/OS2

From Robert Wolfe@1:116/17 to All on Sunday, December 25, 2016 12:40:30
    Hi all!

In the process of moving my services over to eCS and I have my BBS, mail and mailing list servers all up and running under eCS 2.x just fine now. What I am
wanting to do now is set up a LAMP server under eCS but am unable to locate any
documentation on the web detailing what I need to go about doing this project. If anyone would be of some assistance and point me to where I should start first I would be greatly appreciative since anything I come up with is, well, useless.

a LAMP server? Linux, Apache, Mysql, Php???

i'm trying to remember where Paul Smedley and the rest of the guys hang out these days... Paul's stuff is what you'll be wanting for apache, mysql and php... i know you can find them on the gnuports list hosted by Lewis Rosenthal...

there's the apache2 group at googlegroups, mysql-os2 group at yahoogroups, and finally i don't know where php stuff is discussed as i'm not signed up for that
on any list... i remember downloading a build of it a long time ago for my Warp
3 system and i just unpacked it and manually set things up... but there's also an OS2 ISP group somewhere that might be helpful for this... i'd probably start
with the gnuports group and ask there since all the guys associated with the other stuff are all there... paul is the main one doing the ports and steve levine alond with al savage, lewis rosenthal, ian manners, myself and others...

Yeah, I _THINK_ I subscribed to the os2-isp mailing list. Will have to
check here in a minute to be sure :)
