    Hi Sean,

I dont know anything about ESXi, but I have installed OS/2 WARP 4.52 ACP/MCP to VMWare Workstation not so long time ago.

I've been able to create a working VM with Warp 4.52 using
Virtualbox under Slackware Linux also. All I did was boot the
machine initially using an ISO and went from there.

Where did you get a booting ISO??

I have tried in vain to install Warp 4 on any computer with a duo-core
(or more) cpu, and ide HD's larger than 2 GB. That first 512 MB partn is
    no obstacle.

I also have CD's with MCP2 and have also made the three start diskettes
but all installation tries have failed.

One of the installation CD's is also labeled "Boot".

I have Warp 4.52. It will boot directly from the CD just fine, no floppies needed.

BTW, I have moved my BBS from Linux back to OS/2. I'm running Maximus/2. Hoping to "flip the switch" tomorrow...and hoping everything works well. ;)

Ever think about switching to ArcaOS? :) Or, UPGRADING, rather? :)

When I have a spare $200+ to toss around, sure. I have a large list of much higher priority things to do, such as finding my own place to live, getting a set of dentures, and fixing my Pathfinder first. So it might eventually happen, however, for the BBS' needs, ArcaOS would probably be too much. Since I own a legal copy of eCS 2.0, that should do the BBS fine.

I believe OS/2 Warp for eBusiness has a bootable install ISO image. If you bought an RrcaOS license, the installation disk comes bootable already.

    Peace,

I may have said this before in here already but my OS/2 Warp 4.52 (MCP2) disc is bootable.

Well, well, I have a boot CD for installing MCP2 (OS/2) but it refuses
to boot. I have even made the three installation diskettes from the CD
    but no go!

    Have a good day,
